Wedding invitations are found in mailboxes all year long, but especially during the spring and summer months. I received a wedding invitation from a customer requesting that I use it to create a personalized wedding card for the couple. These are my favorite cards to create!
This wedding invitation used the popular ‘chalkboard’ theme.
The top portion of the invitation was perfect to put on the inside of their wedding card. I added a punched heart and flower sticker to ‘balance’ the look. The newlyweds are sure to recognize this when they open it!
I printed a message that kept with the theme of ‘happily ever after’ to complete the inside of this personalized wedding card.
When I created the front of this one-of-a-kind wedding card, the names of the couple were cut from their invitation.
One of my favorite wedding verses is “From this Day Forward”, and it seemed to pair well with the couple’s ‘happily ever after’ theme. I added some beautiful paper with swirls of gentle sparkles and a few punched hearts to accent the card. A pretty flower from Starfoam Stickers was perfect to complete this special card.
Congratulations to all the happy couples!
