Hanging Out at the Beach!

Many people enjoy being on the beach. Some are fortunate enough to live by the ocean water, while others choose to visit the seasides.

If you can’t be at the beach, at least you can have a card that reminds you of the beach!

April Showers Bring May Flowers & Fruit!

This blog title sure sums up how the weather has been in northern California this year! We have had record rainfall, which is great, but it seems to come all at once! Fortunately, we have had several days of sunshine sprinkled in between all the rainy and windy days!

We moved into our new home and are discovering the new plants in our yard. A grapevine, orange tree, loquat tree and a fig tree are blooming now. I can’t wait to see how the fruit will be! Not sure about the loquats, but it will be interesting to see how they taste! (I’m not a fig lover, except in cookies! If anyone has a recipe to share, it will be appreciated!)

My creative room is about eighty percent complete. I have created a few cards already and I would love to share this special one I designed for
someone who loves flamingos!

I love Graphic45 papers, and I have had this paper for awhile so it was wonderful to finally be able to use it! I love the contrasting colors, and my customer really liked this card. I had the flower appliques that matched the colors, so it was the perfect touch! This was designed as a Mother’s Day card, but I can certainly see me creating note cards, thank you cards, or birthday cards from the other panels with this beautiful paper!

A New Box of Crayons!

Hello!

Remember when you were younger and received a brand new box of crayons? They looked like a rainbow in a box, and you couldn’t wait to try each color! Today, I don’t use coloring crayons. I’ve graduated to colorful pencils! However, I do still feel the same excitement when I receive a new supply of these! A new pencil sharpener is an added bonus!

Since the holidays are just around the corner, I also received a new supply of these beautiful Twelve Days of Christmas papers from Graphic45. They have patterns on both sides and can be used to create beautiful Christmas cards and other projects.

Just looking at these holiday patterns, I’m inspired to start designing some new Christmas cards for this season. Some will include Christmas messages inside, others will be blank to be used as a note card, and others will be designed as thank you cards! Of course, you will see some of these soon!

This is a short post, as I need to get up to my crafting room to use my new products! I hope you are all busy creating new ideas and projects. Enjoy your creative day and thank you for visiting today!

A Special Happy Birthday Card!

Hello!

I hope all of you are doing well and are having a good time with your creative projects! I’ve been ‘in the air’ and ‘on the road’ these past several days, so my blogging efforts have been lax. Life always takes priority and it has been fun and enjoyable! But now I’m back to my routine.

This is a special card I wanted to share with you. I created it for my mother-in-law, who just celebrated her 92nd birthday! It was fun visiting with family, as we celebrated with her. (More on that party later!)

She likes funny and goofy cards, so I couldn’t resist using this birthday lady stamp from Inky Antics. I also love the ‘Happy Birthday’ die from Memory Box. Adding the #92 was a must! (I don’t know if there are many cards in the stores to celebrate a 92nd birthday – another reason I love creating cards!)

June is filled with graduations, weddings and birthday parties! I hope you enjoy celebrating these wonderful events with your family and friends!

Thank you for visiting today! Enjoy your creative day!
