Why ‘HorseMark’ Cards? I can explain…
HorseMark Cards was chosen for the name of my handmade cards business for two reasons. First, my last name is Horsfall. Second, I wanted to make a ‘Mark’ as a means of keeping in touch with family and friends by sharing my cards. So, ‘HorseMark‘ Cards became my name. I decided to add the ‘e’ because I thought it looked better…
HorsMark or HorseMark?
See what I mean?
Thank you for visiting my HorseMark Cards Blog!
I love to share some thoughts and ideas about creative paper designs and techniques, communicating with family and friends, re-using things around the house, and other fun or interesting stuff that may pop into my head! I love creating handcrafted greeting cards. I always seem to have some kind of creative project that I am working on in my ‘creative’ room!
I have been married for over 38 years to a wonderful man who supports me in so many ways. I am very proud of our two sons. I’m a big San Francisco Giants baseball fan and also a long-time fan of the Sacramento Kings Basketball team! (Yes, it has been difficult to watch the Kings, but I still have hope!) We have always been fans of the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks teams, especially now!
Several big changes happened to my family in 2022…
Our eldest son and future daughter-in-law will be married March 25, 2023. They live in NY, but will wed in CA. Congratulations Ryan & Jen!
Our youngest son, James, and his bride to be, Hannah, purchased a home in South San Francisco and will be married on May 22, 2023! We are looking forward to a busy year filled with love in 2023!
Oh, I can’t forget to mention my pooches: Comet, my pomeranian, and Robbie, a poodle mix. They keep me very busy too, since they don’t think they are dogs! Robbie was born in 2003, so he has slowed down a bit, but still a very loving dog.
(A sad update….we had to say goodbye to little Comet in November, 2017. She gave us over 14 years of joy and many wonderful memories. I am keeping her picture here, because she is always in my heart.)
Another sad update…We had to say goodbye to Robbie in March, 2022. He was my mom’s dog, but came to live with us in 2010. We spoiled him 12 of his 19 years of life. He was so sweet and was my constant companion and crafting buddy. We miss him, but I would like to think he is playing with little Comet and our wonderful Australian shepherd, Rocket in a meadow in the sky.
I would love to hear your thoughts and comments on what you are creating!
I invite you to visit my Instagram account to see some of the cards I have created. Most of the cards can be purchased and designed for you! Hopefully, you will find some cards you would love to send to someone special in your life!
Enjoy your Creative Day!
